The Power of Great Ideas

Good ideas are compelling and influence our lives in countless ways. It is an invaluable skill to think of new ideas.

As of late, I’ve been finding myself avidly daydreaming. I’ve been questioning the possibilities around me and what differences my ideas could make in the world.

I’ve established design, development, and prototyping with different thoughts, concepts, and models. Through the several books I’ve been reading, the content I’ve been watching, and the information I’ve been consuming, it’s an interesting cross of information I’ve discovered over the past few days.

Want to know more about creating great ideas and putting them into action? Read on.

I could tell you, “I write articles on career, leadership, and tech tips.”

Or I could say, “everything I do is devoted to making access to learning and education easier. I do this so I can help change the world.”

If you’re like me, you’ll probably pick the second option.

Discovering your why is an essential part of developing great ideas. Simon Sinek, author of the books “Find Your Why” and “Start With Why,” among others, suggests starting with your why leads you toward action. Action is a necessary component of an idea because, without execution, an idea is just an idea.

So what is your why?

Your why is your purpose. The reason you exist. Your cause, your belief. What gets you out of bed in the morning and keeps you up at night?

So what’s my why?

It’s simple.
