New Mammy

Well where do I start, If you have been following my posts you are aware I am new Mummy, I gave birth to my Son Logan 11 weeks ago(feels like it was so long ago cannot imagine my life without him).

The topic I am covering today is just what Motherhood has been like for me and how it has changed me.

Personally becoming a mother has not only been the making of me but it just nourishes and challenges every part of my personality and self being. Looking into my sons eyes and watching him grow just feeds my love for him. Yes he cry’s and gets upset and wants to be held for no reason but to be close to him mummy and you know what I do it for as long as he would like, your baby is not this small for long (I already miss him being newborn tiny) and I believe taking every single moment of him growing is what I choose to do even the bad bits.

Most days Logan is wonderful he will smile, chat and play with you all day and end the day with the sweetest night time chats and let mummy sleep so the next day she can do it all over again.

Growing up I did want children and to be honest it has been my life goal to become a mother. It’s what I believe I was born to do, I work and I will go back to work in order to support my partner and to help look after my son. However for now I am enjoying being off and looking after my son , it’s the most incredible experience of my life. I now watch programs or adverts about children and seeing me get super emotional now that I have my little boy. The need to protect your baby is overwhelming sometimes because literally I would die for my little boy. He truly is my world and I could not be more proud a person but as an individual for what I have and what I have achieved. Becoming a mother is the best thing in this world.
