No One

No one can love me as I need

Because everyone

Has loved someone

And everyone

Will love another one

Even me

But I don’t spend my feelings

Like all the others

I don’t live love where I can

I keep them

Like an eternally invisible flame

I keep them

For the one

I’ll be sure

I’ll love like no other

And will love me like no other

I wait for that one

Ignoring every other

But instead of longing

For when the day comes

I feel sad

Because until now

I know that

No one

Can do the same for me

So I prefer to be

With no one

For a lifetime
