Turn your Amazon order into a donation for your favorite organization

Did you know that you can donate to charity through Amazon without having to do anything other than shop?

I know not everyone has a shopping addiction. I can proudly say that I have kicked my unnecessary spending habits to the curb, but even though I may no longer be a “shopaholic,” I do still make a lot of purchases through Amazon. I mean, they sell everything!

Why not take advantage of something I would be doing anyways?

It’s that easy. Once you sign up for the Smile account, it automatically links to your standard Amazon account, so you don’t have to worry about losing any of your purchase history or other information.

It’s even easier if you use the app on your phone to make your Amazon purchases. All you have to do is go to your settings and click on “AmazonSmile.” From there, you just click through a few prompts to turn on the Smile program. That’s it! Then just shop away.

This setting will be saved so you don’t have to worry about enabling it every time. Set it and forget it!

On the homepage of your AmazonSmile account, you will be able to see how much you have generated towards the charity of your choice, along with how much that charity has received from all customers.

You will also be able to see the total donated amounts to all US charities and all worldwide charities. These…
