Lessons learned at Amal Fellowship

Starting from Passenger, the word that speaks off about a journey, the journey that is never gonna end, this word taught others how to get a job, how to appear in an interview but near me, this word has taught me something exceptional. How to be passionate in your life, how to interact with your audience(fellows), how to be very specific in judging others, how to be supportive to others and the most important thing, how to be real; this is the most important lesson that I have learned in passenger. Because when you try to be real for that specific time being, you may get rejected or may be slamed for speaking truth but you get rid off your regrets for the whole life and that is the biggest satisfaction.

Now here comes the most importnat lesson, the lesson that I am gonna continue practicing may be till death and that is to face failure. Believe me I have become more adventurous after learning this lesson and this lesson is learned during the Edhi activity; I didn’t have practice this type of activity without Amal. So many patience, humility , fortitude reqiured for this activity and all of these things I have praticed in this activity. I always used to despond or give in, if I didn’t get anything or fail. But now whenever I face failure there is smile on my face; I don’t know why may be that smile consoles me and encourges me not to give up at this point; this is just a beginning to a succes.

#extramile, what a word; my brain starts to remind off this word to me again and again that “Qurat, don’t give up; what you have learned in Amal, go extramile and complete your work by today; tomorrow will never come until you do your work”

“AMAL” I salute to that person who had suggested this word for the fellowship. That word doesn’t need any clarification, this word speaks itself. Everyone in this world make his to-do-list about what they want to do in their life and that to-do-list always remain untouched because we never ever try to do them practically. Dream is the most easiest task to be done, everyone can do this but there are very few who actually convert them into reality by leading their lives on a principle “Amal”; and to this regard how can we forget our national heroes; Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-azam, one hero saw the dream and the other did amal on it and win this beautiful land for us. Our national heroes example also depicts another rule “eik aur aik 11”. No one in this world achieved his dream without a team. A team supports you and teaches you how to deal with people.

I have joined this fellowship to learn that how to get prepare or to perform in an interview but in addition to that this fellowship taught me how to do Amal and how you have to survive in this harsh environment.

Thanks Amal for teaching me all these lessns and for making me a better person than I were yesterday.
